THE ONSET OF A NEW COLD WAR 🇺🇲 🇨🇳

1945-1991 .. This era was marked by a Cold War between the Capitalist US and the Communist USSR ..  The world was dominated by this two superpowers and hence it was a Bipolar world .. Both were two nuclear armed countries and there was a big tussle going on then ... But soon there was a disintegration of USSR and it broke down into several numerous countries ... 

Since then, there was only one Superpower left and that was United States of America and it soon turned into a unipolar world ... 

Decades after, there was a  New Country which started to make its way to be a Global Superpower and could challenge US .. No one ever thought that such a country which had long history of extreme destitution would turn up to be one of the top economies of the world ...  The nation that I m talking about is Fascist People's Republic of China .. 

During a span of 70 years , there was a rapid upsurge in China's development .. Today, it is a well developed country with a good infrastructure , advance technology , one of the strongest militaries and of course a mammoth economy...  

With such a growth , comes competition and so rivalry .. And that's why US sees China as a major competitor in the International community ...

STARTING OF A NEW COLD WAR

"The time has come for the world to push back against the challenge posed by the Communist Party of China" ... This statement was issued by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo..  US is urging its allies to come forward and take concrete  step against the authoritarian CCP's officials...                                                

 US made a clear cut message to the world that the Chinese espionage is a great threat to a country's national security .. That's why US ban the Giant Chinese  Tech Huawei and prohibited the company from entering its domestic market ...  US believe that these companies would steal a country's valuable sensitive information and provide it to the CCP's officials and they would meet their various selfish needs ..                                                    

  

 This move by US was welcomed by UK and decided to do the same ..  Gradually , more of its allies would join the move .. Many US think tanks believe that rapid advancement of the Chinese technology would challenge and eventually beat the billion dollars US companies like the Google and Microsoft in the coming next 1-2 decades...                                             

   

Many countries like Australia claim that China uses its technology to make cyber attacks on various other countries to gather information about that particular country ...                                                 

Chinese officials believe that there is great domination of US in the IMF , World Bank and decided to get a alternative one like the Asian Development Bank ...                           

The rivalry between the two superpowers heighten when the China originated Virus hit the countries like US and also various other countries...                            US was the highest affected country with cases surpassing  more than a million .. Many people lost their lives , jobs, families .. The country's economy was hurt where tourism, businesses , industries were had to shut down ..                              US President Trump and his administration made a lot of efforts during their tenure to make one of the strongest economies  in the world and in remaining few months the virus made all their efforts to went in vain ... Trump's wrath can be seen in his speech where he uses Chinese Virus instead of Corona Virus .. Although many questioned , claiming that it was his racist nature and the CCP's officials condemn such behaviour .. President Trump reiterated the world that the virus was Chinese Bio-weapon and a pre -planned attack ... So he issued a statement claiming that " it was worst than that of the Pearl Harbor and Trade Center" ...              

  But the Chinese officials put the blame in the origination of the Virus in the US .. So there is a Blame Game going on between the two nations ..    

 US instead withdrawn from the WHO claiming that is a Beijing owned orgznization..                                         

Today's world is hyper globalized ... Every country depend on each other in one way or the other .. But US President claimed that Washington DC would soon decouple from Beijing and so a trade war was started .. Although for this trade war both the country had to face it's repercussions ...                    

  The tensions between the two nations is at highest peak .. Recently , US ordered China to shut down its Houston Consulate and in its retaliation China also closes down one of the its consulates ...  So the relationships between the two countries are going through a bad phase and would continue if Trump remains in power (if he wins the November 2020 elections) ..        

 

 Unlike 90's Bipolar Cold War , New Cold War is going to be Multipolar ... Where one side will be US and its allies like UK , Australia, Japan , India, France , Germany , Israel etc and on the other side will be China , Russian Federation , Pakistan, Iran etc..                                                       

   Groupings of Countries and meeting their various interest isn't going to be a fruitful one in the long run for the entire world .. Instead all the countries should come together keeping their differences aside and work on global development and peace and prosperity of the world.....
